“Year of the Cat” Group Build a freindly reminder…………
They say that all good things must come to an end. That sounds like a real "bummer" doesn't it ?
The Chinese New Year will start on February 16th, which is only a few days away.
Unfortunately that will be the "official" ending date for the "Year of the Cat". However, if your build(s) are not completed by then it's not a big deal. Please post them up in the "Headlines" section once you have completed them.
If you haven't done so already, please start posting your builds on the 16th. Soon afterwards, I will be posting a recap showing all of the marvelous builds we had. In the recap, I will be picking out a photo or two of each build that was completed.
If you have a favorite photo of your entry, and want it used showcasing your build, please attach a copy of it to the new article I will be posting in the "Year of the Cat" section. I can then use it for the recap article.
Here's a link to where you can post your favorite pictures for the recap. It's really easy to do. Just make a comment and add your photo.
Another very important bit of information...
Please be sure to "tag" your article with the following words.
Year of the Cat Group Build
By doing so, this will allow me to locate your work much easier, and will help to make sure it is not missed in the recap...
We have had a marvelous turn out during this group build, with many persons doing multiple builds. I am very pleased with how it turned out. It has surpassed my wildest expectations. I never dreamed it would have been so well received.
I personally thank each and every one of you who contributed, which made it the success it is. These contributions were in various forms. Some cheered on from the sidelines and offered up encouraging words. Others built model(s) of various "Cat" themed subjects.
Now that this Group Build is drawing to a close, we have others that are taking place. If you have never participated in one of these, let me tell you from experience...
They are a LOT of fun...
So give it a try. We have several going on now, and they all look like fun. If you haven't already done so, please check them out.
