Eduard Spitfire IX
This is Eduard's Spitfire IX in 1:72 which I've just finished for Model Airplane International Magazine. A superb kit, detail is amazing but definitely not a beginners kit, despite its tiny size. Eduard have crammed an amazing amount of detail into this kit which seems to be like a miniature version of the 1:48 kit. Fit isnt as good as its 1:48 big brother however and it does need a little work, nothing major though. Hope you enjoy the photos!
Great job Alan! I like a good old 72 kit once in a while!
Seriously, THIS is 1/72? Gorgeous, Alan.
Alan, This is gorgeous, I haven't built any of these 1/72 scale beauty's yet, but I have few on my shelf. This is great inspiration. Thanks for sharing !
One stunning Spitfire! Just watched the 'Malta Story' movie, alot of Spits in it.
Now that's downright 'purdy'...especially in that "small" scale! 🙂
What an amazing build, you got it just right, I love it.
Amazing work (as usual).
Excellent detail and finishes!
Excellent as usual, it really has details that induce a larger scale model
Wow, that looks nice, and 1/72 as well.
thats a pretty airplane, and your build is gorgeous - I love the finish!
Looks like one of the best 1/72 spits I have come across. WOW, cant believe how much bigger it looks in these pictures.
That's a beautiful Spit Alan!
Great Spitfire, Alan!
Amazing job Alan
One like just for czech flag, the second for model itself 🙂
