Academy Me 163 Komet 1/72
Here comes my Me 163 Komet in 1/72 with Eduard Set #SS256 an two Preiser Figures. The little shelter is from Airmodel.de. The Academy kit is easy to build, but has some inaccuracies I discoverd to late. The tube attachment on the left wing is not correct for example. But anyway it was fun to build this little bird. The canopy is selfmade, cause the original was to thick for an presentation in opened position.
hope you like it.
Cheers Andy

Great detail on such a small model.

I absolutely love what you’ve done with this kit, especially because I know how tiny model it is when completed. And the photo setup is amazing!

Well….I was gonna say the exact same thing Martin did, but he beat me to it (darn time zones). Oh wait a minute, Greg & Julian read my mind as well. 🙂

Great diorama! This aircraft/Rocket is so unique .
I wonder how may G’s the pilot took upon take off. The German films of that time demonstrate the incredible climb rate and acceleration.
I have the Heller one to make. Tanks for this inspriring build !
