Heinkel He 162 in RAF markings – Raúl Hrubisko
Hi,
My father has finished the three Heinkel He162 and they look great in our diplay cabinet
1) Heinkel He 162 A-2 W.Nr. 120072 . captured in Leck – RAE July 1945
2) Heinkel He 162 A-2 W.Nr. 120076, . Yellow 4 / JG-1 captured in Leck. Air Min 45 and then VH523 – June 1945, Uk
3) Heinkel He 162 A-2 , probably W.Nr, 120235. AIR MIN 68,
Here are a couple of more photos.
Cheers
Santiago
Santiago, lovely trio! Whose kit?
Please relay to your father my compliments on his work. Never realized that aircraft had its' main gear splayed out in such a manner. Interesting.
Actually Craig, the main gear had a upright stance, but they’ re lovely models nonetheless
I have known for some time that Raul is building all the aircraft types & variants used by the RAF in World War II (wasn't that over 1000 models in total?), but also adding the acquired enemy planes makes this insane! Wonderfully insane. Please send my regards.
PS: Any chance of seeing a sum total of the collection at some point?
Hi. Yes, you are right. THat is the idea. Right now there are aprox. 800 models done. I will try to post some photos of the display cabinets.
Cheers

Really interesting, Santiago! Tell your Father how much we enjoy seeing his labors!
Many thanks Jeff. I will let him known.
Beautiful work.
Very nice! Just looks a tad awkward seeing them in British markings!
