I like what you have done. I happen to have this exact same kit on my work bench at the moment. My Dad served in these and M-26 Pershing's during the Korean War. Later he served in the M-46 through M-48 A2. I served in the M-60 series, and for a very short time the M-1A1, so we had all of the tanks covered...
As an old tanker, I commend you on this build. It looks very good.
