Italeri 1/48 F-14 Tomcat
For my first post, here is my rendition of Italeri's F-14. I enjoyed building this but now I want to do one of Tamiya's versions.

Welcome aboard, Matt...you'll no doubt find the Tamiya version quite a "step up" when you do it - it's an outstanding kit; looking forward to it. Nice work on this one.

Yeah, I've only got the cockpit and the beginnings of the main gear bay done as yet but I want to get a whole process post out of it.

Nice job, Matt. The early, full color markings are classic. I just got the Kinetic F-16XL-2, but I want to save it for a rainy day. I'm thinking some fictional markings for an Air Force aggressor in the white & black splinter. Looking forward to seeing yours!
Thanks, I'm going to do the XL in fictional service markings (and also put as much ordinance on it as possible just for fun) and I have Tamiya's aggressor Viper which I'm going to do in an Alaskan Splinter scheme.

Hey Matt, nice job on the Tomcat. I recently picked up the Tamiya -D model, but may not build it for a while. I'll be reading your F-16 log to see what you're doing on it. Welcome to the forum.
