Spitfire LF Mk.IXe Eduard 1/48
Spitfire 2035 (ex TE575), 105th Tajeset, Ramat David Base, Israel, April 1950
The colors I used Mr.Paint, an additional tank of Bf-109 from Eduard, otherwise just a box. Some mistakes will certainly be found, but hopefully will like ...
Very sharp looking, great work!
Nice work on this. The German drop tanks are a nice touch.
Yeah, never saw a Spit carrying standard luftwaffe drop tanks. It’s a great model, wonder what mistakes can it have? Bravo!
Thanks, additional tanks were used when crossing from Czechoslovakia to Israel (Operation Velveta)

Splendid work on your MkIX square-tip winged Spitfire, Tomas! Like the others before me, I love the drop tanks. I've never seen this before.
Beautifully finished...stunning detail work, my friend.
What a beauty! Love the weathering - seems just right.
Wonderful work referencing an important 20th century conflict. Fascinating!
Beautiful looking Spitfire
I really like the camouflage, and the weathering is a perfect touch.
Great work on an interesting Spitfire.
me like... cookies umph
Gorgeous rendition of this bird under IAF’s colors. I wish to be able to do the same! Bravo!
Great version of this great kit. I'm in the middle of my own attempt, and this is a real inspiration.
I will add some photos from the building for inspiration. Marking is sprayed over masks carved according to decals from the kit

that is one eye-catching scheme. thanks for adding the additional photos. love it!
Absolutely great looking Spit. Have a handful of Eduards Spitfires...hope they will turn out half as nice as yours.
Tomas, This looks really nice, a very attractive scheme and very realistic overall appearance. Well done !

Clearly good modeling skills can be seen by this work. Tomas, you have done a great model of a IAF Spitfire. Thank you for sharing these images.
that weathering is NICE, and great work masking the roundels. Doing that successfully is not as easy as one would think and yours came out perfect!
