Amusing Hobby 1/48 Focke Wulf Triebflügel – Red Skull’s Escape
After my sojourn with the Vulcan I decided that something mad was needed.
I picked this up from Tiger Hobbies at a very good price as the box had been water damaged and figured it would be a good candidate for the Red Skull version from Captain America.
It was a fairly easy build mostly out of the box except for brass undercarriage from Aerocraft. After reading the reviews i thought it would need the extra strength and these are superb.
She was painted with UMP Primer, Tamiya Nato Black, Tamiya Red, Vallejo Metallic Aluminium and Vallejo Modelair RLM66.
The Transfers were home made (Really need to buy a circle cutter though).
She was finished with Galeria Satin Varnish.
I didn’t do any weathering as She was factory fresh in the movie.
As always, Many Thanks for looking and any comments or criticism welcomed.
Cheers,
Alistair

Wow, this really is out of the box, very nice indeed. How is the kit? Hail Hydra 😉

Hi There,
Thanks for your kind comment.
The kit is a fairly quick easy build. I only had to use a little Mr. Surfacer on the seams the rest of it kind of fell together.

Very cool. I can’t say, “hail hydra” because that would be anti-American, but it’s a great build.

Thank you for that.
When I saw the kit it just screamed out at me to do this scheme.
I think it worked quite well
