Czech Another Off My List
One year when I was a kid my parents bought me Aircraft in Profile vol. 7 as a Christmas present. I always looked through these books with glee and fascination when we went to the bookstore. They were too expensive at the time so I was quite surprised to get that book for Christmas. That was the only volume I got as they were out of print by the time I could afford more. (Thanks to the internet of things I own most of the volumes now.) I poured over those chapters and many years later I decided to begin an informal collection of each plane in 1/72 scale. Thus my first biplane submission to iModeler is the Eduard 1/72 Avia B.534, one of the featured aircraft in volume 7.
This makes 9 complete for the year.

Wow, you really knocked this one over the wall and out of the park. What a superb result!

Your collection starts very well!
I’m looking forward to seeing the next…

Thanks, Peter. This is the fourth of 24 planes in the book. The other three are on my blog here.

Nicely done Scott! Avia did build some pretty planes. My favorite is the Avia 57 (which I have in FSX). Compared to its contemporaries the Ju-52 or Stinson model A it looks like a space ship! (In all actuality it looks like a scaled up Spartan Executive!)

Well done – especially for the scale.

Thanks for the compliments, fellas. I still need to improve my rigging skills. And maybe buy a jig for biplanes to get my work up to level I see here on iModeler.
