Eduard (Accurate Miniatures) 1/48 Douglas A-24 Banshee, Mexican Airforce
After the shiny Mexican T-Bolt, my dad also finished another shiny Mexican not long ago. He had to fight with some fit issues but in the end it turned out nice.
He used the limited Eduard edition of the Accurate Miniatures kit with Aztec Decals. For the main colours he used MRP White Aluminium, MRP Neutral Grey and an older selfmixed olive. EZ line for the antenna wires.
The Aztec decal sheet also includes markings for full NMF and green schemes, but we chose this one with its US Army aircraft replacement cowl and wing which makes an eyecatching look.

Oh yeah – now I have a target for why my 1/72 version of the Banshee will look like! Love it!
