Suhoy Su-2 ICM 1/72
Long time no see, finally i˙ve managed to finish something so here it is, Su-2 from ICM of Ukraine, not a very successful plane as i˙ve read in various books, but still a nice plane. The kit itself is a tipical ICM, some hard spots here and there, and with superb surface and interior details. Painted entirely with MM enamels and varnished with Gunze semi gloss (or semi matt rather).
For the first time i used Uschi thread material for the antenna and i liked it, althogh it˙s hard to work with it. That´s all for now and i hope i will finish my next little plane some time sooner than this for the next article, cheers!

Love it! The weathering looks great. I’ve got this kit – hope it turns out as nicely as yours!

Well, if you have it give it a try, this is a recon version of the kit, bomber having a bit different camo.

Really nice paintwork and superb weathering, as others noted.
That design really got whomped on with the ugly stick, didn’t it? 🙂

It sure did, especially with its short legs, hah.

No uglier than a Helldiver SB2C.

Easy there @roofrat, some of us are partial to the Sum Beech Second Class! 🙂 Remarkably, there are some similar lines here.

Hm?, SB2C sure looks weird too, nice suggestion for some of the next projects, i think Academy Helldiver would be fine.
