1/450 scale La Real French Ship.
This is another model built o.o.b with a base, including some paper flags. On final assembly I noticed that one big sail had the wind coming into the sale at a different direction while the wind was coming into the other sail at an opposite direction. The kit makers sure screwed up on the sails.
I learned to sail on a 2-mast schooner on Lake Erie during WW-II at age12 year’s old and become a good sailor, including a “STAR” navigator, thus I knew the the kit sales were made wrong.
I should have made the sails using some cloth and/or paper. To make things worse, I attached the little white flag in the wrong direction.
