The fastest Arrow
Hello, guys!
This is my first post for 2020, though it was actually finished a while ago. Do335 was one of the fastest piston-engined fighters at that time, as its nickname Arrow ("Pfeil") rightly symbolize.
The model that I built is M14 (RP+UQ), the second prototype of B-2 (heavy fighter) series. It was built OOB including decals. I only added seatbelts (Finemold) and some levers and wires in the cockpit. For painting, I applied actually no weathering, except of pre-shading, because this was only a test machine, never used operationally.
Thank you for watching!
What kit is this?
Nice work on it, whatever it is.
Thank you Tom.
It is a Tamiya kit of Dornier Do335, a German fighter of WW2.
Sharp looking 335 Shun!
Thank you Dale!
Very nice! Very "fast" looking airplane. Nice finish on it.
Thank you Greg for encouraging words!
Great job, an unusual aircraft!
Thank you Robert.
I wonder why Germany, among other countries, made so many unusual planes in WW2.
