He - 219 What If
Good day,
I built a model aircraft with great joy. It is Revell He-219 1/32 of the air war in Africa (Libia, Waddan airport, 1945) where five machines of this type were forgotten. I didn't know the crew names. I didn't want to do gray camouflage and this one just seemed beautiful. It is a swarm commander aircraft (white ´V´ on the wing) with the number 4 (yellow). Serial number on the fin is invented and used from the kit.
Accessories are from CMK '
and tools and washers are from EDUARD.
The model is majestic and I really enjoyed the construction. Thanks very much to Revell.
Thank you that I can put a photo of the model here and be indulgent, please.
Regards "What If"
Vandy.
And,I apologize for my English.
I've always liked the 219. Beautiful model, well done!
Now this looks very cool !
"liked"
Very nice !
Really like the way you did this colour scheme. The rest is pretty tidy also.
Nicely done Vandy, I like it. And your English is just fine. Welcome to iModeler.
Thank you, it is an honor and a pleasure.
I build lot's of fine looking model's...BUT YOUR MODEL "TAKE'S THE CAKE" as we use to say in the old days here in America and today we just say "DOUBLE WOW!
You certainly built an extra fine looking model. Thanks for sharing and your photography is excellent too! Rodney..
You don't even know how much I appreciate it. Thanks a lot. Vandy.
Lovely build of a great looking plane. Your chipping effects are wicked, how did you go about them? Hairspray method, chipping solution?
Hi, It is only silver color, then 'maskol' and then three colors camouflage. And only then removing the 'maskol' and all kinds of patina. It's pretty simple and looks good. (at least for me). V.
This looks fantastic! Love the scheme (even if a "what-if"), and your weathering and chipping is excellent. I love the form of the 219 and this really makes it stand out.
