C-124A GLOBEMASTER by RODEN MODELS. Part-1.
I built this 1/144th scale model way back in April, 2013 and I went overboard with almost 300 “in progress” building photo’s with my new Canon digital camera. Today is February 10, 2020 and I finished sorting out all my photos then making what we call on this Apple computer: “FOLDER’S.” This folder is devoted to building the cockpit.
The model is void of just about everything that is in all airplanes like the foot pedals, steering wheels, side consoles etc. I got on Google and clicked on “image” then typed in
“C-124A Globemaster” and up came lots of black and white, including color images. I was especially interested in finding cockpit photos and “lucked-out” so I am including them.
Roden made a pretty good kit in 1/144th scale and the finished model looks like the real aircraft that Douglas Aircraft Corporation made. I just wonder why they did not design and make a better cockpit for this model? However when you look into the cockpit, the window frames block a lot of the view.
I have 3 more stories to post so keep tuned in.
