1/700 Fuyuzuki (Akizuki Type)
Aoshima 1/700 Yoizuki kit with the Five Star Fuyuzuki upgrade kit:
The upgrade kit is essential for this build as the original kit is pretty basic. I also added aftermarket rope reels and built the wood base and acrylic case myself. For this build I tried to unify some techniques I've been working on for hull panel detail, pre- and post-shading painting, weathering, and rigging. I think it came together well overall but as always I learned a lot and have some new ideas and refinements in mind for the next one.
