A Brazilian in French clothing
This is the 48th scale Hobbyboss Tucano. Built as an EMB-312F serving with the French Air Force while based at Salon-de-provence AB in 2009. Extras are the fantastic decals from Caracal, Pavla ejection seats and Quick boost exhausts. The red and white scheme is a nice standout in the display cabinet.
Cheers,
Mick
Well done! - I'll hit the star on my way outta here.
Cheers Erik!
Great finish. Super work overall.
Thanks Tom.
Nice work, Michael.
The build and the scheme will draw a lot of attention for sure.
Thanks John. It's a pretty aeroplane and the scheme certainly sets it off nicely.
That’s a very eye catching display scheme. Great choice and a splendid build
Thanks Pedro. The Caracal decals performed well.
Excellent model, Michael.
Outstanding painting!
Thanks Spiros. The trickiest part was making sure all of the lines and corners were neat and tidy and there was no bleed onto the white.
What a great looking scheme. I was unaware of the 1:48 kit. Off to check my PayPal balance...
Thanks George. I've been in those circumstances before! HB do both the 3 blade 312 Tucano and the 5 blade 314 Super Tucano. They're simple but enjoyable builds.
Slick build, and you're right about the scheme - a real stand-out!
Thanks Greg. It does catch the eye in amongst all of the grey and camo subjects on display shelf.
All I can say is: fantastic...
Thanks Rodney.
