Meng 1/35 M2A3 Bradley

October 29, 2020 · in Armor · · 8 · 2.2K

This is my M2A3 with Busk III, and full interior.

Meng are truly one of the best manufactures today. The kit is one of the best i've built. The engineering is great, without too many parts and tiny parts. The only issues I had with it are the side skirts that don't fit well and needs work, and the suspension.
The interior goes together relatively easily, and the instructions have very useful color callouts.

I painted my bradley with AK real color Carc tan, a wonderful color for US modern vehicles in the desert. I also airbrushed the "Punisher" logo from a stencil. After some filters to selected bricks, I applied pin wash, chipping, some oil dots, and then pigments.

The tracks in the kit comes in one piece, and only needs minor cutting and clean out. They are fully workable, you just click them together, and they are really durable and don't break. Plus, Meng gives you a PE mask for the tracks, which make life so much easier when painting the pads. Other companies should look and learn how to make great workable tracks.

A very befitting representation of a updated Bradley, very nice work Daniel.
Your weathering is well done. Any chance we will see this one take a role on a diorama?
The model is already in part waiting.

  3. That's a truly excellent and absolutely realistic looking Bradley, Daniel!

  4. Hello Daniel,
