Banzai!...1/48 Nakajima Ki-84-I Hayate "Frank", Imperial Japanese Army
Also built in 2015.
Hasegawa kit (9364), added brake lines, aerials and landing gear indicators, painted with Gunze and Tamiya acrylics, Tamiya Aluminium for nmf.
The model shows the a/c of Corporal Noboru Naito, 520th Temporary Interceptor Group, late ´44 to early ´45.
That is seriously good work with the airbrush Reinhard.
Great job on the Frank...the paint work is spectacular. Also, I like how you have you have built the kit with raised flaps, which looks so much more realistic.
Excellent work...Congratulations.
Merry Christmas!
Impressive. Some strong airbrush work.
Two thumbs up.
Reinhard, @grimreaper
This is a magnificent looking build. It's perfect in every way, and I like everything about it. I have also pressed the "liked" button. Well done my friend ! 🙂
Love it!
Great looking Frank. I especially like your camo scheme.
That paintwork is flat-out superb @grimreaper.
That is one beautifully done Frank! Amazing cameo.
That is a fantastic build, Reinhard.
The camouflage is very nicely applied.
Great handling of your airbrush.
Very attractive aircraft and model. One of the more catching paint jobs this year.
Totally agreed with gents above, Reinhard.
Excellent job and superb airbrushing!
Wow - I absolutely love the paint finish on this one! If I thought I could achieve that in 1/72, I would try, but I doubt my AB skills at this point would allow me to pull that off in 1/48! A real beauty.
Really fine airbrush work on the squiggle camo. One of the nicest versions of the green over metal finish I have seen done in any scale.
