Arma Hobby (Expert-Set) Hawker Hurricane Mk I Battle of Britain + Addons in 1/72
This article is part of a series:
Hello, today I want to show you the second part of my little Battle of Britain diorama. I used the expert set of the Hawker Hurricane from the Polish manufacturer "Arma Hobby". Since everything is already included in the set to build a nice hurricane, I didn't use any additional parts. The machine represents a Hurricane MKI (V7234 SD / A) 501 Squadron RAF. The pilot was Pilot Sgt Antoni Glowacki, he was credited five kills in one day when flying this plane on August 24, 1940. Hope you like it.
Wow, really like this a lot. Although the depth of field may not be life like, I get a special feeling looking at the scene. Lots of Battle of Britain here, lots.
Amazing diorama, Andreas!
Beautiful details!
Looks nice - in any scale! - but 1/72 - stunning! well done Andreas.
Fantastic Hurricane, Andreas.
The way you present them makes it look like a real scene.
That's a really cool looking BOB diorama Andreas, thanks for posting it.
Thank you very much gentlemen!
Excellent work Andreas, especially in 1/72. Great photography as well.
Excellent work in 1/72, particularly those figures! The whole diorama tells a great story.
Nicely done Andreas, where did those Spitfires go !
Great display and finishing; given the small scale!
Great work!
Thank you gentlemen!
Superb results with both the Hurri and the two Spits.
The only thing I can see that you missed with the Hurri is the footstep/handhold
ahead of the "S" should be open when the wing root stirrup step is pulled down.
they're actually interconnected.
You've certainly captured the spirit of the Battle.
