Freezin´ Schmitt...1/48 Messerschmitt Bf109G-6, JG54
Built in 2017. Hasegawa kit, painted with Gunze and Tamiya acrylics, EZ Line for aerials, plastic rods and lead wire for brake lines and cockpit fuel line, decals from the kit and the Kagero book "Bf109G/K Vol.II"
The model shows an a/c of IV./JG54 on the eastern front in winter 1943/44.
Great looking 109 in that winter camo, Reinhard.
Well done.
Thanks John!
The guy who put that hatch back on must've worked with sewer covers before the war. Nice work as always, your Dad's a machine.
😀
Thanks John! Yes, on average about 30 models a year.
Great looking 109 Reinhard, impressive build and more impressive camouflage scheme.
Thanks a lot George!
Agree with all above comments, Reinhard.
Spectacular result!
Thanks again Spiros!
I recall seeing this Gustav in another forum, and then, like now, I really liked it. What colours were used below the white? I see 75 but also some greens, just curious because I really like the effect
Thanks Pedro!
Yes, posted this back then on Hyperscale and Britmodeller.

Thanks a lot Jorge!
Another great scheme, and a beautiful build.
