Defending the Reich...1/48 Focke-Wulf Fw190A-8/R8, 6./JG300
Hasegawa kit built over 6 years ago, the add-on armour is believed to be from a Tamiya kit, seatbelts, brake lines and antenna wires added, painted with Gunze and Tamiya acrylics.
This aircraft was a former nightfighter with Nachtjagdgruppe 10, therefore still the boar emblem on the cowl. It was converted to a Sturmbock, now flown by Unteroffizier Paul Lixfeld, 6./JG300 in late 1944, Löbnitz/Germany.
Build according the high quality standards of the Spreitzhofer family, Reinhard.
Beautiful on every aspect.
Thanks John!
The usual excellent Spreitzhofer masterpiece!
Love all these (even subtly) variating schemes!
Thanks again Spiros!
What can you say, another museum-quality work of art!
