  1. Amazing result, Reinhard!
    Figures look great, too!

  2. G'day Reinhard (@grimreaper),
    A lovely build.
I built the Dragon kit as this aircraft back in 2004 (that long ago, really?).
(I must take some updated photos of it.)

As a point of fact (not criticism) the Me 262 was expressly forbidden to be towed by the nose gear - and a warning was usually painted on the nose gear door - due to early experience causing the nose gear to collapse. I know there are photos with the aircraft being towed as you have it, but they are for early operations.
Instead, a Y shaped harness was developed to be attached to the main gear legs for towing.

  3. Very nice work, excellent paint work and all, but December 1944 or later is far more likely.

It wasn't until the fall that Hitler learned the Luftwaffe had ignored his decision that the Me-262 was a "bomber." I once interviewed a former JG(J)-51 pilot, and he specificically said he didn't see a Me-262 until just before Christmas. (Since all that has nothing to do with the quality of the excellent model, it's an easy "editorial change")

  4. Excellent result, Reinhard.
The 262 is such an elegant plane and your clearly show that.
Still have one in stock and I'm eager to start with that.
