Spitfire Mk.Vc RAAF 1/48 Special Hobby

May 18, 2021 · in Aviation · 11 · 2.6K

Not easy kit like Gawa or Eduard or Tamiya, but i like picture on box. This camo is super. Color on top i mixed from Tamiya. Some mistakes, but finished. First problem fit, second decals, and last - cover cockpit.

    Well done, Josef

  3. Great work, Josef. The Vc is one of my favorite Spitfires.

  4. Great camo and weathering. Definately not the easiest Spitfire to build but you would never know looking at yours.

Beautiful overall on this model Josef.
The camouflage and white portions really shows off in very positive way's.
    Nice weathering.

  6. Love your job on that not somehow dificult kit, Josef!

  7. That's very impressive, Josef, and a fine job on the less than stellar Special Hobby kit; well done! I'm guessing you took the female artwork from the old Airfix Spit Mk V/Seafire kit? If memory serves it's the only decal out there that's the correct size for the model---the one that comes with the SH offering is far too small for accuracy.

  8. Good to know! My kit was a very early one with just the small decal included. Thanks!
