Afrika Korps 88mm Gun and Tractor
I've always wanted to build a 88mm on its wheels, and was glad to see this in my preferred scale of 1/72 (1/76 is close enough) for $7.99 at an Austin hobby store a couple of weeks ago.
I painted the completed assemblies Panzer Grey to represent the original finish of many AK vehicles, then top coated with several coats of thinned Dunkelgelb and a lot of weathering.
That looks very nice.
I built this in my early teens and remember it as an enjoyable build. I think I only painted the tyres. Thanks for the memories.

Airfix 1/76 series are really cool!
Nicely done! Airfix sure had
a variety of subject matter, awhile back I acquired a kit of their SA-2 Guideline SAM.
