Hasegawa 1/24 Lancia Stratos HF "1977 Monte Carlo Rally Winner"
This Stratos in Alitalia color was one of the cars that I wanted to finish someday.
The rear fenders have been modified to smooth lines with no seams, and catch pins and antennas have been replaced.
The Alitalia colors were painted with masking using a copy of the decal as a stencil.

Wow Dagored - amazing job on this, I did the Italeri version earlier this year and it is an amazing car and an awesome build. I can't believe you painted on the Alitalia colours, that is incredible and looks perfect. I love the catch pins you added - how did you do that?
An absolutely fantastic job.
Painting the Alitalia colors was a challenge, but the result was well worth the effort. The catch pin was replaced with a commercially available etched part.
Definitely one of my all time favourite cars and you’ve done a great job with this kit.

I used to work for Walter Landor Assoc., the design shop that came up with that Alitalia logo and the colors.

I don't think there is any other car that is as rally worthy as the Stratos. I would like to finish another version of the Stratos as well.
