1/48 Fly Macchi M.5
Macchi M.5 flown by Domenico Arcidiacono, commander of 261st Squadron Venice, San Andrea. September-October 1918. 1/48 Fly kit, a fun easy build. Hand painted nose art and fuselage cause I couldn't find decals unless I wanted to buy the other Fly kit with it.
In the end, I'm glad cause I like the paint job.
This was a very simple kit to build and looks great with the rest of my WW1 growing collection.
Thanks for looking.
Another Van Acker winner! Your WW1 stuff is really interesting, @paulwoodyvanacker.
Thank you so much.
Incidently, I was in 2 minds whether to do my next build, a Blue Max 1/48 Avro 504 until I read your review. It prompted me to do it. Thank you.
It'll be started soon. (Alongside a Special Hobby Lloyd CV.)
Amazing result, Paul @paulwoodyvanacker
Your hand painting skills are superb. A steady hand is definitely required for this work.
Well done.
Thank you so much. ?
Amazing job, Paul!
Your WWI collection is growing both quantitatively and qualitatively!
Congratulations!
Thanks very much. ?
The nose art, or rather the entire nose area is just awesome! Did you hand painted the motto on the fuselage sides also Paul? Bravo!
Thank you very much. Yes I did the fuselage as well. Only the roundels and numbers are decals. 🙂
Wow! That is so impressive Paul! ? Great job sir! ?
Wonderful model of the rare flying boat fighter.
Love those early Macchi fighters. This must be a grandfather to the Tiger meet planes?!
Really great work - I can't believe that nose are is hand painted, incredible. Very cool plane as well.
