I remember feeling privileged to fly in one of these.
My first flight in an airliner was in an American Airlines 707….beautiful plane. But my favorite airlines marking are from Pam Am. In the early to mid 60’s my father used to take me to near the end of the runway at JFK and I used to lay back on top of the car’s roof to see and hear all the planes before touching down. The 707 was my favorite to watch.
