TAKOM 1/35 CHIEFTAIN Mk.11
I finished the Chieftain kit made by Takom.
The kit has a moderate number of parts, and there were no difficulties in assembling it.
This time, I added tank soldier figures and a camouflage net to the original kit, and removed some of the side skirts to finish it off.
Excellent result, Dagored @dagored
The addition of the nets make it look very realistic.
Weathering and painting is nice as well.
Thank you, I couldn't leave out this craft because I thought the net would be a good fit for the Chieftain.
Fantastic job, Dagored! Ditto John's @johnb comments!
Thanks, I'm glad you like it.
I like that very much !
Thank you for this.
Absolutely convincing work! This is one of the best things I have ever seen; apart from the brilliant work on the vehicle, I think the characters are pure awesomeness, extremely true to life! Great photography, by the way!
Thank you for the compliment. Finishing the vehicle to give it a sense of presence is always a challenge.
I’m not an armour guy but this is excellent work. Thank you for sharing!
I'm glad you liked it, and all the models in all genres are fun to finish.
Superbly realistic, what a fantastic scale model! ? Great job weathering and a terrific looking crew! What's not to like?!? Not one thing that I can see, and I definitely "liked" this beauty! ?
This Chieftain is one of the kits I've been wanting to build for a long time, and I was finally able to show it off in a tangible form.
Centurions and Chieftains are my favourite tanks and this is a great Chieftain.
From the Centurion to the Chieftain to the Challenger, the British vehicles are all fascinating. It was a pleasure to be able to bring them to life.
Nice build mate. Love the weathering and nets!
Thank you, I'm glad you like it.
Fantastic work, love the subject and the weathering! I remember seeing those beasts on exercises in Germany...
Thank you, you have seen the actual Chieftain, I am very envious of that.
