RNZAF Hasegawa P40 E

June 5, 2022 · in Aviation · 6 · 1.1K

Hi all, haven't posted here for a while. This is the 1/32 Hasegawa P40E Warhawk built as a Kiwi bird from the OTU. Took a little while to complete but reasonably happy with the outcome. Thanks
Riccardo

  1. Great outcome of this not so often seen scheme, Riccardo @tempestv

  2. Love it too, Riccardo!
    Well done!

  3. Add my "well done" to the rest, Riccardo (@tempestv). I am always looking for paint schemes that are different than what you normally see, and this really fits the bill. WW2 Pacific paint schemes are always cool. Cheers.

  4. As a connoisseur of oddball out-of-the-ordinary paint schemes, do you have any information on the how/why/where of this one? Asking because I haven't seen it before (unless I was looking at a B&W print and didn't see it, as happens frequently with B&W photos) and I'm curious.

You've done a nice job on this old kit. Some of the Revell 1/32 kits still "hold water" all these years later.

  5. Looks very good! That is an interesting scheme, and I might like to replicate that a few scales smaller... 🙂

  6. Cool looking Warhawk, well done!
