Mitsubishi A5M4

August 22, 2022 · in Aviation · · 4 · 0.8K

This is the kit 1/32scale. -The build is pretty much OOB, but take your time with it. It is one of their earlier kits. The stabilizers don't have any locating pins. So I added some for strength. - The interior resin is nice, but it needs care when fitting the pieces into place. The instrument panel is tricky to place, and the side walls as a result need care when pacing. - The engine fit in the nacelle ring needed some work. - They include some PE which is a nice addition. - Paints used were Tamiya AS12, other Tamiya paints, Alclad gloss coat. - Decals are from the kit

  1. Excellent result, Steve @jimmiesteve
Although you had some challenges, the outcome is superb.
    Nice scheme on this A5M4.

  2. Indeed a superb result, Steve!

  3. Very nice Claude, Steve. The Tamiya AS-12 really works for the metallic airframe. Decals went down well. Sounds like you had to put quite a bit of extra work into it, but it was well worth the effort.

  4. Another beeooty. You're really knocking them out, eh? 32 rules!
