Academy 1/35 Pz.Kpfw. 35(t)
In March 1938, Hitler implemented the occupation of the Sudetenland (Bohemia-Moravia) and the seizure of Czechoslovakia. As a result, the Germans took over the Czechoslovak industry, including the Skoda factory, which produced the Lehký tank vzor 35 (Light Tank Model 35), locally known as the LT vz. 35, or LT-35. In German service named Panzerkampfwagen 35(t) or abbreviated as Pz.Kpfw. 35(t). The letter (t) stood for tschechisch (German for "Czech").
I started this after the Bronco Panzer II, my first Academy kit. Out of the box build and first exposure to link & length tracks. Faster to build than individual links and worked well for this light tank. I used an oil pin wash this time around and found it easier to "clean up" compared to enamel. Build completed end of January 2021.
This Panzer 35(t) was finished as a tank in the 6th Panzer Division, France 1940.
Yet another wonderful model, DJ!
Love the weathering!
Nice little bit of history there, DJ, and another subtly weathered tank.
Great early armor, Juan @juan2six
Oxidation on the exhaust looks superb.
Nice work, DJ. These small tanks are always interesting subjects.
