P-39Q "Brown Eyes" (Arma Hobby 1/72)

November 26, 2022 · in Aviation · · 18 · 1.1K

This is the latest model kit issued by Army Hobby in scale (most of their kits are in this scale, but I'm still waiting for the promised Hurricane in 1/48). I built some of their first plastic kits (PZL P.7), and a later Wildcat along with Yak-1b. What can I say? Each new kit is getting better and better in terms of quality of engineering. Now Arma has started to add nice 3D printed parts (seat, guns, some cockpit details), which brings the overall impression to the new level – one of the best kits in 1/72 I've ever built so far. Highly recommend.

From my side I've only added brass Pitot Tube and machine guns by Master. Painted with Hataka lacquers, and some oils afterwards.

Thanks for watching!

  5. Gorgeous build as usual Dmitry. I think if all 72nd scale kits were this good, I'd almost be inclined to convert from 48th.

I’m also eagerly waiting for their promised scaled up Hurricane, the Mk.II c.
Their plastic is very good but your model brought it up another notch or two
