Pegasus 1/32 Aerial Hunter Killer from T2
This is my rendering of the aerial hunter killer from Terminator 2: Judgment Day.
The kit went together well and was very Bandai-like in how the parts fit. The only modification was replacement of the molded compressor fans with resin compressors designed for a 32nd scale A-10.
I planned to use AK Xtreme Metal Chrome for the finish until I discovered Uschi Van Der Rosten chrome powder. After application of a gloss black basecoat, I used a cotton swab to apply the powder for an extremely realistic chrome finish.
Weathering was done using washes and Tamiya clear Yellow, Blue and Red for the engine discoloration. Happy to finally have this iconic vehicle in the collection.

Nice looking HK. The kit is pretty good. I built one several years back but it doesn't look as good as yours.
Fantastic result, Carlos!
Wish we saw more Sci-fi here!
What an amazing kit @air2, and a brilliant build of it, great work, hope you do more sci-fi. Would love to see more.
Excellent result, Colin @air2
A not so often seen build nor sci-fi either.
Love your paintwork on this one.
Dan, Spiros, Anthony and John - thank you kindly! I enjoy sci-fi as much as I do aircraft so there will be more forthcoming. Thanks again!
I’ve no idea what this is but it looks great.
Thanks, George! Sounds like you've not seen any of the Terminator movies. The first two movies briefly showed this thing flying around over the battlefield.
