F-16C Block 25 "Aggressor" (1/48 Tamiya)
Hello all,
this is my recently finished F-16C Block 25 "Aggressor" in 1/48 scale. I added a lot of goodies:
- Black Dog "Big Set" - Awesome details, but bad fit and casting quality
- Avionix cockpit plus some Quinta elements
- Reskit exhaust and AIM-9
- Bandit Resin travel and ACMI pods
- Eduard photo etched parts
- Bullseye decals (plus Mike Grant decals for compartment frames "holes")
- Reedoak figure
- Brassin speed brakes
- KASL nose
- WANDD pitot tube
etc... and a lot of scratch built parts, especially related to the gear bay area and the various covers.
Well, that was a lot of work - especially making the Black Dog parts fitting to the Tamiya basic kit was a nightmare.
All in all it took two years until I could finish ist.
But in the end all the work paid off, because during the 2023 "Euro Model Expo" in Lingen (Germany) I received a lot of positive comments from other modelers - and the model won a "Gold" medal in the category "Aircraft 1/48".
A Gold medal well deserved, Bernd! Supreme job on both the basic model and on the numerous extras added!

Stellar work! I don’t know what were the competitors but I’d say this model would win a medal in any contest . Additionally, 2 years of work is not that bad, especially taking in consideration the huge amount of add-on you used. Kudos!
