I use those broad kabuki tapes, stick it to the model, draw the line with pencil, take it off to some even surface (old CD case works for me), then follow the line with my x-acto knife, put it back to the model and paint it, of course every colour separately.
Looks great! Where did you source the gun sight from? I'm working on a Heller kit now - I kinda like these old kits, I think they have a bit of magic about them.
Hello, yes, the gunsight is the only aftermarket item on this one, the original looked nothing like the real thing and because it is so prominent i decided to replace it with Brengun photoetch, originally made for RS kit.
Superb result out of the old sweet Heller kit, Vedran!
Looks amazing, Vedran @gladnijura
How did you get those wavy demarcation lines so nicely done.

@gladnijura, thanks, the result of this approach is great.
Lovely color patterns! Like the scheme a lot. Those early french WWII planes look interesting.
“Vintage” Heller kits seem to be quite popular at present, you’ve made a great job of this one, Vedran.
Awesome job and what a lovely camo scheme.
Nice return...well done!
Nice work. I’m a Heller fan and enjoy seeing these old kits built. What paints did you use? I like the shades.
Hi, paints are mix of everything, but for camo i used hataka and ammo french sets, sealed with hataka and gunze satin varnishes.

She's a beauty of a build, nice job. I am a big fan of the Heller kits, nice to see this one made.
Nicely done Vedran, good looking scheme.
