1/72 Academy VFA 111 F-8 Crusader
Here is my First attempt of a Rendition "Last of the Gunfighters" as many of you know it was the last of the Aircraft armed with Guns way back then. Remember it was all going to be Air to Air Missiles, well it was soon figured out that was not to be. I hope to have the 1/48 scale F-8 Sundowners Painted and Decaled one of these first Days.

Bob, I loaded photo(s) but since I am a new guy here on the Claim I would say "Sir ,The Private Must have done something incorrectly. Sir" I loaded and have no idea where the Photos are ?
VF-111 has the distinction of scoring the last air-to-air victory of an F-8 Crusader in US Navy service during the Vietnam War. A VF-111 F-8C bagged a MiG-21 with an AIM-9 Sidewinder.
