Ducati Super Leggera
This is one of the latest in Tamiya's series of 1/12 scale motorcycle models.
The Super Leggera is a development of the 1199 Panigale using lightweight materials wherever possible, including carbon fibre and magnesium.
Even the wheel rims are made from carbon fibre.
The exhausts are also made from exotic materials and have been developed to increase the power output and to add lightness.
Probably the most distinguishing features are the winglets on the front cowling, designed to discourage wheelies.

The bike is finished in Tamiya's Pure Red, which is in between Pure Red and Italian Red, and just shows up the contrasting markings.
All in all a very satisfying build of a great looking bike.
