1/35 - Kamaz 43509 - Rally Dakar 2019 – Zvezda kit

I guess I can call it a finished model.
Some knowledge about the construction, there are about 3 things in the model that do not match the original, there are about 5 mistakes in the instructions that I found...
Used parts from three details to be made on this particular model because it's the only kamaz released so far, but hey...some of these details are on an older version of the truck so it doesn't quite fit but whatever, he's a little bit of himself anyway different and I believe that they are modified even for each stage, so I kind of fought with it so that it is interesting for the eye and maybe I give it a head and a heel somehow.
I finished a lot of DIY things there, including shock absorber springs, axles, millions of bolts, rivets, side windows, wires and hoses, just a lot and a lot ...
I wanted to make it a functional closing and opening of the side covers, but since these panels are slightly twisted in the kit (and in real life), unfortunately it doesn't fit and when opened, the struts have a different distance from each other than when closed ... the only way to do it solve them, remake them and replace them with your own work, which is not impossible but challenging. If I didn't already have them removed, I would go for it.
Of course, I also used 3d barrels for fire engines, fan covers, screw heads and so on.
Next, I made the top sheet which is transparent, fitted with a frame to keep the shape, I had to make masks to replace the decals, which would not make sense without the fabric. And finally, it is sewn into the structure and actually levitates in space, but as a detail it is very successful, it could be a hair better, but since I did not find any model where anyone would even attempt this, it is actually a pioneering attempt.
The construction took me 4 months of quite intensive work and in some places it was suffering, at other times it was a nice job.

A very convincing model, Radek, maybe it should be in 1/24 scale to go with any rally car models that maybe available.
As a Truck it is almost same size as every 1/24 car kits. Its not such a big problem, atleast not for me.
