Revell 1/72 Shackleton AEW.2
Probably, the best kit in the scale. Revell's new tool Shackleton is superior (but not by a large margin) to the Airfix kit. In all, it is not a difficult build and results with a big and impressive model.

Excellent job, Rafi and a really impressive result!
Thank you Spiros!
Impressive result, Rafi @blackmopane
Well done.
Thank you John,
Looks good Rafi. The Shack is an interesting airplane.
I notice you have a couple silvered decals. Those can still be fixed even now: take a #11 xacto and slice them up, then flood them with decal solvent. They'll go down and you'll never see the slices, and the air under them will be gone and they'll be perfect.
Thank you Tom.
Yes, I know the routine. I just gave up on the decals because they would not yield to a variety of solvents. It happens every now and then with Cartograph decals.
Lovely build Rafi of one of my favourite aircraft. I remember as a kid seeing them overhead on finales to the nearby AFB. My folks house was almost perfectly lined up with the runway. Those Griffins were very noisy at 2 in the morning though!
Thank you Mark.
Well done, Rafi.
Thank you Gary.
It definitely looks like a Shackleton, Rafi, I remember seeing them fly from RAF St Mawgan in the 1960s.
Thank you George.
Great work. “Big and impressive” is definitely an understatement.
Thank you Denis
