Tammy 1/35 Jagdpanther late

December 16, 2023 · in Armor · · 9 · 252

Chose this since the late model JP's did not have Zimmerit so I did not have to search far and wide for an AM set. Typical Tammy engineering and fit was present throughout the model altho I did cheat and add an AM barrel as well as an RFM workable link track set. Military figures came from Tammy's latest German Tank Crew set, and the farmer is from Masterbox with a MiniArt farm cart.

Base is 2" foam insulation covered with VMS Smart Mud II with three layers of various lengths of static grass, kitty litter rocks, and driveway sand applied. This was primed dark brown and the roadway was airbrushed with increasingly light transparent coats 'till the desired effect was present. Grass was painted Tammy Dark Yellow then airbrushed in sucsessive lighter coats of green in the shorter sections while leaving the longer sections as they were. Bushes came from Martin Wellburg.

Another fun Armor project that kept me out of the bars for awhile
