MiG-21MF-75 from 34th PLM at Babie Doły ; Eduard ; 1/72
About the aircraft:
MiG-21MF - representative of the third generation of MiG-21 aircraft. Quite numerous in Poland (120 pieces).
About the copy:
MiG-21MF-75 with the side number 7399 - one of twenty MiG-21MF-75s delivered to Poland, produced at the Gorky factory. It was stationed at the 34th Fighter Aviation Regiment in Babie Doły. It was painted in an atypical for Polish's MiGs "pigeon" gray. As it turned out during later operation - with the help of radar-distracting paint 🙂 . Presented with armament as for a pair of duty aircraft: 2 x RS-2US + 2 x R-3S.
About the model:
The base was Eduard's kit "MiG-21MF Interceptor" in 1/72 scale. Own decals, Bilmodel paints.
I find it highly un-likely in life that there would be something you could call perfect or even "Art". Perfect being reserved for being below the grass or your higher power . . . but, this build Carl , this build could /is "Brilliant". About as close as you can get to. Hard copy material, standing, whistling and clapping loudly in the nose bleed seats of the Imodeler stadium of champions.

Welcome, Konrad! The Mig-21 is my favorite jet. I’ve built three of the Eduard 1/48 kits and your 1/72 model looks just as well detailed. Eduard really did these kits right.
