Hellcat
Tamiya 1:35 M18 Hellcat (MM376) :
Used Value Gears' kit-specific stowage plus other 'stuff' scrounged from the spares box. Tamiya lacquer paints mixed & lightened by eye.
One of my fave WWII vehicles and a huge step-up from the old Academy kit (which did sacrifice some bits & pieces to make this one). Please feel free to make any comments, ask any questions or criticisms.
Belated HNY all from the other side of the planet. Cheers from a very sunny and warm New Plymouth NZ.
That’s really well done, Ian. Very realistic weathering.
Excellent!
Really nice work on this, Ian. A great result.
Fantastic job, Ian! Love the painting and weathering!
This build shows a lot of realism, Ian @ij001
Paint and weathering is indeed perfect.
A great example of how to get the best out of one of these kits, Ian. Cheers from a sunny but cold city, currently minus 20C, in north east China.
Outstanding work sir dirty yet not overdone
Great looking ground pounder!
Fantastic scale model, Ian @ij001! 🤩 Man, that looks great and quite realistic to me! 👏
Beautiful weathering! A really outstanding build.
Wonderful feedback, thank you everyone, really appreciate it.
Ian.
Super cool, I've been considering dabbling in armor and this is certainly and inspiration. Wow- you nailed this one, well done!
Well done. Love the Hellcat. It's an under-appreciated tank in the armor world. you did it justice.
Nicely rendered weathering on this tank. @ij001
Really nice job of weathering over the decals.
