1/72 ICM OV-10D

March 28, 2024 · in Aviation · · 8 · 340

This is my IPMS review of the ICM 1/72 OV-10D Gulf War version. This was a nice build but you can read my particulars at the IPMS USA Review:

https://reviews.ipmsusa.org/review/ov-10d-bronco

IT is nicely detailed but has few things to watch out for; nose weight to avoid tail sitting-not a lot room in the area. Also the canopy is a bit fiddly in its construction. The kit also lacks any seatbelts. BUT it is by far the most detailed 1/72 OV-10!

  1. That looks excellent! I built the same scheme from the Academy kit, and looks like the ICM kit has superior detail inside and out. Well done!

  2. Absolutely wonderful job, Steven!
    Congratulations!

  3. This is truly impressive, Steven @sjcorvi
Being able to create so much details on a 1/72 build requires quite some skills.

  4. Well done, Steven (@sjcorvi). I agree with the previous contents that the detail in this kit looks much better than over OV-10s. My T-37 instructor pilot had flown OV-10s in Vietnam, so I have always been a big fan.

  5. Nice work! Big improvement over the old Hawk kit.

  6. Good work in this scale. But please amend this post, it should be either in reviews or aviation, not in uncategorised.

  7. That's a great 1/72 build Steven. Looks fantastic 👍
