Ratel on the Lomba
Here is my Baxmod 1:35 Ratel 90 of SADF finished as an Operation Moduler vehicle.
I was inspired by a book I picked up in South Africa in 2018 "Ratels on the Lomba".
This is primarily a resin kit and its has a full interior although I added detail to it. The kit is for advanced modellers and it has its challenges but its the only option in 1:35 that I know of. I completed it as part of a collection of kits on the Border War for the Forgotten Conflict SIG last year at the Dutch ESM model show.

Brian, you did an amazing job on this South African tank killer from the Lomba battle. The Ratel (Afrikaans for Badger) was one of the best AFV of its era. It was central to the SADF's mechanized warfare strategy in Angola. Some versions of the Ratel were fitted with rocket launchers to fight against tanks. Your model is a fine testament to this very effective AFV. Well done!
