1/72 Italeri RE. 2000

April 23, 2024 · in Aviation · · 11 · 151

This is decent little kit if a bit basic. I added some details [cockpit area] from a spare SH kit I had lying about. OTherwise pretty much OOB. I used the kit decals-pretty good and I employed the very nice MRP Reggnia Aeronautica color palette. Great lacquer paint and sprays wonderfully.

Hope you like.

Love the RA camouflage schemes!

  2. Excellent job, especially for such small scale, Steven!

  3. A beauty! I will apply that scheme to one of my 2000's - it looks fantastic.

  4. Very nice result on this Re.2000, Steven @sjcorvi
The camouflage scheme came out perfectly.

  5. Well Done Steven (@sjcorvi)! The mottling looks good and given the size of this airplane, I am sure that wasn't easy.

  6. Thanks It was a bit challenging but very nice with the MRP paints

    Steve,

  7. Well done - I like the paintwork!

  8. Interesting scheme on a good model as red's not a typical WW2 Regia Aeronautica color.

  9. Nice work. Is that kit from the old Supermodel molds? I think Italeri ended up with them.

  10. Beautifully done!

  11. Yes I believe it is updated tooling of the Supermodel kit...this wioll tell you more
