Hasegawa 1/48 Bf 109G-6
I used Hasegawa's Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6 depicting the mount of Oblt. Alfred Grislawski as a platform of an Aires DB 605A engine. The advantage of resin casts are the fine details that enhance the complex arrays of cables and pipes surrounding the engine. Yet, I have not found a resin set that fits perfectly with the host plastic mold.
Stunning work. Nothing else to say.
Thank you Graeme.
A-men, Graeme. That engine...just turn the key & she'll surely power-up.
That look great Rafi. Beautiful work as always. I'm slowly working on the Revall 109G-6 in 1/32nd scale using the Eduard resin engine and cowling. That one seams to fit pretty nicely. Hopefully I'll make some more progress soon and finish it up. If it looks half as good as your build I'll be happy.
Thank you Clint.
I look forward to see your work.
Thank you Bob.
Fantastic build Rafi!
Thank you DJ!
The number of high quality models you put out amazes me! Makes me wonder where you display them all?
Thank you David.
I have seven display cabinets and the rest are mostly stored back in the boxes.
Great build and finishing.
Thank you John.
Looks amazing Rafi 😀
Making models must be your career! I can't believe how many models you're doing lately. Keep up the great work 🙂
Thank you Scott.
My career is living my dreams. Models are just part of the lot.
Outstanding
Thank you George.
Superb job as always, Rafi!
Painting and weathering second to none!
Thank you Spiros!
A real beauty, Rafi @blackmopane
Very nice to see the engine being shown as well, quite some details.
Thank you John!
You'll never find good fit if you attempt to put anything but a seat from Aires in a kit. I say that from experience.
That said, you triumphed over resin with this one.
Thank you Tom.
Your concurrence is comforting in that I did not miss anything.
Excellent detail work, Rafi.
Thank you John.
Another fine build, and a great job accentuating all the fine detail!
Thank you Greg!
