P-35 & its relation to te RE 2000
This was a nice little build from Special Hobby and it seemed appropriate after the RE 2000. These two airframes share a lot in common

With few exceptions they're identical a/c. Nice builds.
Great build! I may have to snag that kit.
Superb build, Steven @sjcorvi
Never noticed that those two aircraft are almost identical but the last pictures do clearly show that.
Excellent build, Steven!
Nicely done. I've always been a fan of the P-35. I have the 1/32nd scale Williams Brothers kit because I'm a gluten for punishment and at the ti.e I got it it was the o.ly P-35 available. I want to do som scratch building on it to, just to bring it up to snuff a bit.
Very attractive P-35. Well done, Steven.
From the picture, I thought this was a larger scale, Steve (@sjcorvi). Great work on an iconic pre-war fighter. I have been dragging the old Williams Brothers kit around for a long time. Your kit has inspired me to move it farther up the build queue. Well done.
Great build(s) that illustrate how much Reggiane engineer Roberto Longhi took from Seversky when he left to go back to Italy in the late 1930’s.
Great job on that 35. I have that kit (got it at Atlanta Nats 2005, just cause of the cool boxart. STILL in my closet :)). It's really tiny and yours looks larger on account of the details.
I don't remember, did the P-35 have the wing integral with the fuel tanks or was that a Reggiane addition?
Nice builds on both. Yup, they look like first cousins dressed up in different outfits.
The two airframes share design engineer Roberto Longhi. He was Kartveli's main assistant and did the detail design work on the P-35. Felt a little unappreciated and when he went back to Italy on vacation in 1938 and Giovanni Caproni hired him to take over the design department at the new Reggiane airplane factory. That's how the two look so similar.
Great story Tom

Very sharp build.
