UAZ-469 Police
Greetings to all.
I present to you my latest work, UAZ-469 from Trumpeter in 1/35 scale
There will also be a diorama made for this model, but for now I will only show the model itself.
This is a mid-1990s police car. For people who did not live in the countries of the former USSR at that time, it will be difficult to understand that atmosphere. Total devastation and poverty, unemployment. And even those who had a job received their salaries irregularly and with delays (sometimes more than 6 months).
It was a difficult time, but it was atmospheric and now even a little nostalgic.
This UAZ-469 policeman (we called it militia, not police at that time) is from that era. Old, shabby, but still in service.
The diorama that I plan to make will be dedicated to the serial maniac Chekatilo. For anyone interested or who doesn't know about it, I recommend reading it on Wikipedia. More precisely, the diorama will not be dedicated to him, but to those police officers who caught him.
I haven't fully figured out the plot yet, but the theme will be like this.
The rust and weathering are very convincing and will really help capture the atmosphere of those times.
