Hasegawa 1/48 A6M2-K Zero Trainer Type 11
The unique Zero Trainer is well depicted by Hasegawa. These aircraft had extensive yellow to orange color coverage over the lower surfaces and sometimes also the upper.

The trainers were always hard to get. Yet, I expect that the prices will drop as soon as Eduard issues their version.

Having built this kit and discovered the shortcuts Hasegawa made to do it,. I agree with you that the Edusard Zero Trainer will be far better.

Indeed, Hasegawa improvised the rear cockpit and canopy. I expect that the Eduard kit will be much better.
